Sorry Rick, I have no answer. Maybe the evil twin has got the right answer It's not the first time I see ribbon bars with CM2X with yellow color on the left. Maybe one era's error. I remember having a photo in my collection of one officer with beautiful ribbon bar. But when I have looked more particulary, I see the swords were mounted on the wrong side. I think it has been painted on the photo. May be it is an old photo and at the time he didn't receive it. After receiving it he want to show the new medal and he has just painted it on the photo. That's my opinion. Christophe
