Hi, This is a very nice ribbon bar indeed. I am very estonished that someone like Weitze make a mistake like this one. Indeed for him the ante-penultimate ribbon is the Friedrich August medal. It's in fact the SDA. Of course all members here have id it correctly. The blue ribbon seems to be a Wurttemberg ribbon for Friedrich knight cross, probably 1st class with X. I like the crown on the Albert ribbon Christophe

Christer, Johannes Herfurth finished the war with the grade of Oberleutnant d. R and won iron cross 2nd class and the Saxon Albert Order knight cross 2nd class with X (14-12-1915) Regards Christophe

A very rare photo : a simple Gefreiter received the EK1 on 7 october 1914. His name : Gefreiter Rabe fom Reserve Jäger Reg Nr. 13. He was the first man of this unit to receive the iron cross 1st class. He could have been proud of him ! Christophe
