Not sure if this tinnie belongs here or not. It sure has all the makings of a Third Reich tinnie-nice eagle and I like the Ein Volk-Ein Reich-Ein Reich saying on it--nice 1927 tinnie. Guess what I should have said was it is easy to see how the Third Reich tinnies and styles evolved from earlier tinnies.

Well here is what came with the case. Great looking medal but I think it is a bit big for the fitted holder...

I guess it could be for that Rick, (don't think it was a table medal as there is a spot for the loop) although that is not what came with the case--in fact, what sits in it is a bit larger than what may have been issued with the case. Here is the inside. Has a dark blue velvet base for the metal to sit in, case is 2 3/8 x 2 3/8 inches square and has the name M.J.R?ckert-Mainz on inside top. Any other ideas?? I really don't know and will show what the case came with in the next few days or so. Mike

Hey Mike your right-my mistake. That kinda makes more sense then as the first one I got has Bismarck on the medal and the Kaiser on the inside-the new one is just the reverse of the first. Maybe there were only two in the series then..Time will tell I guess. I'll correct my post Thanks! Mike

I was wondering if anyone knew what this case was for and issue dates. I will post the case first then after any replys-if any will post what came in the case--I have no ides if what came wiht this case is a marrage or not..Mike
