  1. Officers from the Hilfskreuzer THOR,Balik Papan,Borneo..Sept.1942. Konteradmiral,Bernhard Rogge,Hilfskreuzer ATLANTIS.
  2. Very nice items guys. I have no patches in my collection, just this photo of one in wear. Regards,Martin.
  3. A nice group photo taken on board the Prinz Eugen that shows crewmen wearing the Marinefrontspange. I have seen groupings from the Prinz Eugen that included these "on board made" examples of the MFS. This photo is of the "Signalenschaft" and is dated 1944/45.The writing on the revese shows reference to an officer and an obersignal meister. My guess is that the photo was taken in early 1945 ? But,nice to see examples of this award in wear during the wartime period and proof that they did exist, even though made "on board". Regards,Martin.
  4. Here you go Edgar. It looks like the mother is wearing a decorative brooch ?? However, the father is wearing a party badge and an SA badge. Regards,Martin.
  5. Good to be able to post images on this forum again Morten. After the last update/refurb here I was unable to post images from my old computer ?? I have a new computer now,so I can finally be a little more active here being able to post images again. Regards,Martin.
  6. A group photo that appears to have been taken at the "Marineschule Wesermunde". Makes sense as the photographers stamp on the reverse is from a studio in Bremerhaven. Regards,Martin.
  7. I agree,but at least it's a good original,despite the damage. Regards,Martin.
  8. Still a great photo Edger. Thanks for the fine description. Cheers,Martin.
  9. Another very nice photo Morten and an equally nice description by Edgar. Thanks,Martin.
  10. The Schickle tombak HK is probably the rarest out there.I know of only two in collections. Sadly,i still cannot post photo's on this forum. Cheers,Martin.
  11. Not my area of collecting, but that is a super quality piece John. Lovely patina. Typical Schickle quality.Too bad they went out of buisness early in the war. One of my favorite pieces is my Schickle Hilskreuzer award. Regards,Martin.
  12. The catch certainly looks like it has been messed with. As you say, probably marks left from an alteration with pliers ?? Lovely badge BTW. Regards,Martin.
  13. That is a nice photo John. Super detail, enough to reveal the manufacturer of the badge. Regards,Martin.
  14. Sorry John, again i have tried to post images here on this forum with no luck.Every time i try,i get "upload failed". What am i doing wrong ???? This is very frustrating. Regards,Martin
  15. That is a very uncommon and desirable Minesweeper badge John. I have seen one of these bages with an L/18 mark on the mainpin, probably leftover Schickle stock that was picked up by Mayer in Pfortzheim when Schickle went under. I have a very rare Schickle Hilfskreuzer award with the same reverse set up,one of only three i know of. Regards,Martin.
  16. Thanks guys. For the additional image and the correction. Regards,Martin.
