    3. Nice Bar Bob! How did you deduce he was a ? straphanger of a Horse man? interesting...Hmmm. and yes it is Amazing how RR can 'read' as such, and tell a story from these bars... we are so priveledged to have such a man in our Gentlemens group here!. His insight is just what we all want...to hear about our wee treasures...and be able to smile with the knowledge of Something! about our collecting habit! ... something about the lives of these men who fought and toiled for their country in their German way. Rick! please do not worry Poor Bob...he has a weak heart... Cheers, Paul

    7. Do not worry about the Astroturf background...i told you about Charlie before...He is harmless...and does not know of your TM... Still want to know how much i should offer on the Rote Adler 4th class? and the $250 was a figure i used for a starting point... so you reckon its cheap at $250? Cheers Paul

    14. Great collection Don! Love the Tank batallions! they look impressive! The Imperial section is nice too, with 1st and 2nd crosses lined up... and the diversity of awards. 15. Cheers Gents, Daniel, would the ribbon bar then have swords and crown on it to denote the MVO with Crown and swords? Would love to see the framed pic.... Otto, i have one too! and i do love these medals as well. i have another on a pre 1900 three place bar and on a 6 placer with EKII, FAK, HH, HK+X, 25Yr LS, Centar... Heres my little Centarmedaille after a carefull clean! and a wee minature bow ribbon.. neat eh! Regards Paul PS: No-one got a Bavarian 9Yr sevice medal for me?
    16. Good Morning Gentlemen, more goodies have arrived! The Bavarian trio ..the third medal is the Signum Memoriale which is wrong... i need to replace it with a Bavarian 9yr.... does anyone have one for me? I like this bar...as it is one of the few i have...that does not have the HK on it! The second is a well made bar with the ribbons tightly furled around the bar. Regards Paul
    17. Wooops Stevo...your'e on the slippery slope as Bob would say... sorry mate...but you are a goner....hee hee.....(satanic laugh.......) seriously......Welcome to the club! Imperial! ....so much fun!!!.....its just the ticket! Cheers, Paul
    18. Hinrik! Nice Bike! Like me...u started with not much....and managed to get all the bits you need... Handy living close to England..eh! Me...well i had to make alot of parts...could not get them anywhwere... Or some robber wanted far too much for the parts... I managed to find a few NOS items, like the crashbars, ( very good, as no scrape marks on them..so they chromed up nicely!) headlight surround...front guard....to name a few things.... I like the special fittings you have used...to make it original! like the bar grips! I had nothing to go on...no totally original bikes still down this way...UNTIL.... A friend of mine who collects Indians, ( has over 20!) found this one...it was part of a deceased estate...apparently the fellow, bought the bike, after the war..( army surplus) and rode it and had a minor accident, ( Just fell off i think!) and put it in the shed and forgot about it! Thsi bike was ( and still is) a totally Original bike from the war! and i was able to look at it closely and suss out where all those funny looking bits of metal belonged! wow ! it was amazing! this bike had never had a spanner taken to it! Paddy still uses it and runs to Akaoroa on it..about a 11/2 hour ride.... Good job done! Regards from New Zealand. Paul
    19. Here are two more shots, One of the collar and one of the Eagle Comments Please! Regards Paul
