Here is one that was offered by Hermann Historica. I believe it to be a fake. I dont like the pebbling , nor the "Godet" engraving among other things. What are your thoughts.
Jaques I also thought the grips looked bad, the eagles did not concern me too much. After the other crosses you posted I have no doubt as to these being fakes. Thanks for the lesson! is there anyoriginal B&NL catalog that lists them as offering a Spanish cross?
Thanks for all the replies. I still am not sure this explains the whole story though. The Condor airplane was not much if any earlier than the torpedoboot Kondor and yet spelled with a "C". I also don't see how the airplane name would be a "borrowed" word from another country as it was a German deseign.
I have a question, torpedoboot Kondor is spelled with a "K" but when Legion Condor is spelled with a "C". Both spellings seem to be original German spellings. Any ideas on why?
