@ Chris, Ein Soldat aus dem Mannschaftsstand mit Tapferkeitsmedaille, der 1849, 1866 und 1870/71 mit dabei war und seine anrechenbare Dienstzeit über 40 Jahre war. Nach dem Ausscheiden aus dem Militärdienst bekam er wohl dann noch die Zivilverdienstmedaille. Kann man auch in meinem Buch nachlesen. Sh auch hier:

The bearer was Joseph Koch, paymaster of the 1st Foot Artillery Regiment. The special feature is the MVK 1. Classse Krone and Schwerter, one of the few originals, ca. 150 awards in total.

Servus together, For those who do not know me, my name is Walter and I'm from Bavaria / Germany. My main collection area is the Bavarian military merit medal (bravery medal). My english is rather bad but i do my best to be understood. So far, I am registered in the SDA (collectors' association of German awards) and in the MFF (Militaria Fundforum).
