    6. When soviet soldiers finished their military service, they build self-made dembels to decorate their uniforms. Here are two examples. I added an article about dembels. Give me some time to translate it into English.

    8. Soviet, you where close but I think it is Klara Zetkin. She is a german women. She received in 1927 the Order of Red Banner from Woronshilov (see added picture) and in 1933 she received the Lenin Order. She died in 1933 and is buried in Moscow at the Kreml wall. She was a leading person of the german comunist party and a friend of Lenin. 1921 became CLARA ZETKIN president of the international worker assistance and 1925 chairmen of the international red assistance. best regards Andreas

    10. 1. Liberation of Belgrad medal - 20.10.1944 1. Defence of Kiev medal - for our soviet country 2. 13.02.1945 2. 13.04.1945
    11. Hello Darrell. looks like a really nice Lenin in good condition. So my oppinion is, if you want a Lenin with order book take it. The price is adequate. A few weeks ago, on German ebay was sold a Lenin with book for 577 Euro?s (~700 USD). If you want a military Lenin in a group, it would be more expensive and there is no garantee that he got it for a heroic action, it could also be awarded for 25 years desk sittng. regards Andreas

    13. and here are some loops of original OGPW 2nd class to compare. What do you think?
    14. Hello, what do you think about this OGPW 2nd Class typ 1? I can?t see any obviosly problems. But I don?t like the small connection from the star tip to the loop. I looked at the pictures of several OGPW and the connection was always thicker. Any comments? Any other pieces with a small connection? regards Andreas
    15. Hello Gerd, yes the soviet soldier who put the red flag over the Reichstag got Hero of the Soviet Union. But the famous movie clip, how they put the red flag over the Reichstag, was filmed a few days later. The soldier who put the red flag in the film over the Reichstag is not the same, who put the flag in real on the Reichstag. So the "film soldier" got quite known, and the real one forgotten. A short period ago, the Bundestag (parliament) invited the real soldier to Berlin. There was an article about him in the newspaper. But I was so stupid to throw the article in the dust bin. best regards Andreas

    19. Thanks for the help and the comments, Yes there is sadly no photo in the soldier knischka, I don?t know if there is photo in his personal file. This group only came with the award card and the two citations. But as I know, photos in the personal files for lower grade soldiers are not so common. regards Andreas
