Hi I am looking for the career of a Secondelieutenant in the 3. brandenburgischen Jäger-Bataillon. His name was Johann Wilhelm Hildebrand Müller, born 1861 since 1902 Müller-Hillebrand, after his militairy career he stood in the forestry service and served as Forstmeister in Battenhausen. A deathdate on this guy is very apprciated, should it be locateable. He had a son/grandson of some fame I know of but am not interested in at the moment :-) who was a WM General. This data will be added to his entry in the MVM family history. He was a stephson of an aunt of Louis, the Crownprince aide de camp. hope one of you can help me out again. regards David

Good afternoon! Friedrich v. Marschall (d. 1910) held the SEHO3b (per the 1896 Prussian staatshandbuch I saw this morning) Would he be in the DOA as well? His last known function was (Ober)forstmeister. Friedrich v. Marschall married 1866 Elisabeth Müldner v. Mülnheim (d.1879) and 1886 her sister Adelheid (d. 1926). A scan would be appreciated! regards David

Hi I am looking for an early officers career in the 4. westf. IR Nr 17. Should there be a Militairy History concerning the regiment in this period, I would like to get the scans mentioning the following person: † Theodor Müldner von Mülnheim, *Hanau 12.06.1817, † Marburg 05.01.1841, königl. preuss. Lt im 4. westf. IR Nr 17. Next to that, I would like to know in which rank he was (has he been a Fähnrich or so before his commission?) and in which company he stood in this Regt. This to be add in his entry in the familiy history book I am writing on the MvM's regards David

And the greatgrandfather of Ernst-Günther was Ludwig Traugott Wentzel, who as Geheimer Seehandlungsrat recieved the CHGL3 in the 1820's. Although not ennobled himself, 2 of his sons and a grandson were, in 1859, 1880 (E-G's grandfather) and 1906 ( a day before the man in question, Oscar von Wentzel died as Kapt z. See and Chef des Adm-Stabes der marinestation der Ostsee) respectively. Thanks for putting together this great piece of information for me! regards David

Hi I have the following details on a man whose first name I am not able to find: My interest is based on the fact that he married an aunt of the persönlicher Adjutant des letzten Deutschen Kronprinzen: Major LACO Müldner von Mülnheim, Agnes Julia Elisabeth MvM (1843-1881) on an unknown date and divorced her in 1877. Basically what I am hoping for is the date for his AAB3a and a possible entry in any kind of militairy career. Would he be ranked an officer (probably in 1871)? NN Schäffer PROA4;EK2;AAB3a (STB1896 S. 825) in Kladow (Ostpreussen), mit LD2 und EK2 (STB 1882 S. 244) 1890 als Oberförster ebd genannt (Jahrbuch der preussischen Forst- und Jagd-Gesetzgebung und Verwaltung S. 122), dann 1892 Mit der Titel Forstmeister mit dem Range der Räte IV. Klasse versehem (Deutsche Forst-Zeitung 1892 S. 517) ovl. 1899-1900 (laut Schlesisches Forstvereins J. 1900 S. 9) Schäfer zu Sorau 1892 Mit der Titel Forstmeister mit dem Range der Räte IV. Klasse versehem (Deutsche Forst-Zeitung 1892 S. 517) Thanks in advance David
