Imperial / Weimar Awards and Badges

Thank You for your Input. Im Not into fakes. But i have a big discussion with my dad. He collects ww1. He has a 1940s made 1914 Iron cross. (In my Opinion a replacement) but He also has a 60s Post war 1914 iron Cross. And here we are... Is this a replacement, a Copy, a Fake or... ? Me again. 😅 He also has a 30s made hollow ww1 U Boot badge and a 40s made Zink ww1 u boot badge. To him both are original. To me both are replacement Awards. 😅 but what happened after WW2. I read that some Firms (Like Steinhauer & Lück) produced ww1 Awards to. Are they Fake, collectors items, replacement... Im so confused 🫣 -
Imperial / Weimar Awards and Badges

So, after WW2 there wasn't an official Order to produce replacement Awards for vets? What about the interwar replacement Awards - are they Copy or replacement If they are made by one of the original makers? I know i have a lot questions - maybe some hard or crazy ones 😅🫣 -
Imperial / Weimar Awards and Badges

So, pre 1933 Decorations would be still produced after WW2. But they are Not 57er Awards. Right? Do those Post WW2 pre 1933 Awards has a specific Name? Or are they just wearers copies / replacement Awards? -

Hello all, Long Time No See and now im back with a crazy question. The German WW2 Awards where produced in a 1957 Version. But what happened to imperial or Weimar Awards? Were they produced to? Like the 1914 Iron cross or Other imperial medals, what with the Panzer assault badge? Or Pilot Badges. I Hope its Not a stupid question. But some of These veterans where still alive to.
