    1. I am thinking that the uniform of a pilot is really fake, and have some points on that but I am not sure in this, just because I really have a lack of knowledge on soviet airforce uniforms. I was only talking about the stamp. And the other stamps depicted are very probably fakes, too. I also now am waiting for Richie C who has (as far as I remember) a great book on soviet airforce uniform, and will be able to post some pages from it, both depicting correct uniform and correct arm insignia of pilots. Also, as far as I remember, the insignia on the white tunic shown is from NKVD airforce (crossed swords and star while the regular insignia are the wings and propeller), but the insignia presented at the tunic is very probably fake.
    2. Sergey, so are you from Moscow or from Tver? Rick Research: just try the internet translator, like babelfish or something else. And some info: I posted a link to russian militaria collector's forum, and these shoulderboards (posted there by Sergey) were proven to be fake there. At least, the emblem, as they say, shall not be at these shoulderboards, and the shoulderboards and the emblem were decided to be very oddful. ?
    3. the white uniform presented is a ridiculous thing. Initially it is the summer white uniform of NAVY officer also, try this for getting more info regulations as of 1952 http://www.wedomstwa-uniforma.narod.ru/for...a1952/1952.html May I ask you - do you have any book on russian uniform? Do you know russian language enough to read the stamps and markings? This is interesting to me, because your questions show that you have no idea on what to look at and how to read the stamps. I myself know very very very little about russian uniform and there are much much more educated people, like Denis R who is now our member, and some other people. But even I see what's wrong with these items. How can I show you the legit WARTIME stamp?of?KnA?sewing factory,?if?no?sewing?sewing?factories?existed?there?during?KnA? I guess during the long time since now all items, which were posted here as originals, will be revised and a large quantity of them will be proven fake. I am very sorry. In Russia soviet ww2 uniform costs often much more than ww2 german and is much more rare, so what do you think, should it then be more easy and more cheap to buy in USA? Yes, sometimes good things happen and cheap original things are caught, but not everyday. please, don't think I am trying to blast your collection into dust and convert all your bucks spent into nothing. Just trying to help you clear out what's this all....
    4. NAVY as of 1952 http://www.wedomstwa-uniforma.narod.ru/for...a1952/1952.html
    5. some info - 1959 regulations http://www.wedomstwa-uniforma.narod.ru/for...9/1959.html#ris
    6. Are you really thinking that there could be a factory named RED PARTIZAN in 1942 ??? at the Komsomolsk-na-Amure??? The city was founded in 1930, and in 1938 there were only 8-9 thousands of people there. The one and only sewing factory was built in K-n-A during 1951-1955..........................
    7. don't hurry men http://www.ww2.ru/forum/index.php?showtopic=31136 wee hee

    9. Thanks! This is a quite lovely place, especially, after the MCF The similar steel painted buckles were used in soviet army since 70-ies, so I guess these times were the beginning of the production of buckles for FAR. Also, at these times the soviet-cuban relations were quite warm and friendly.
    10. Thanks Tony! (BTW my name is Tony, too) I knew about BMB, that's right. At MCF I was told that the dark-blue and red are the colours of Royal Artillery, have any opinions on that? 43 is probably the unit number.
    11. Doc, can you take off and scan one shoulder board? I wonder how narrow they are. I have seen similar and was told that they are from a military medic or military legal service
    12. Hi Stoo! I am pretty sure it is, but have no info on the years of production, contract details etc. When I bought it, I was not even thinking that it was a Cuba, I thought it could be a warsaw pact country. And one man who is a world-buckles expert, told me it was a Cuba. very funny thing. BTW, looks like unissued buckles were totally overpainted. I have found a needle-head-sized spot of paint on the face, which is a remnants of original paint.
    13. Good day all. This is a brit DR helmet with a hand-painted unit emblem. Does anybody know what does it mean, which unit this emblem related to, and what's the 43 finally? Thanks.
    14. Thanks, Doc! BTW, Have you already made a frame for the border guard set?
    15. winter version. The boy is the son of my good friend.
    16. sewn cocarde at the summer version (the same is at the winter version)
    17. both are from a well known admiral (see Soviet naval daggers topic, where I have posted the dagger of the mentioned admiral)
