    1. I'm far away of having anything!!!! But I try my best..........My own observations are different to yours-I've seen more pinbacks than screwbacks at the market. But anyway-having all is nearly impossible! Micha
    2. When I'm back home I will have a look in my database........when I remember right a "K" looks different! Micha
    3. Hmmmm, are you sure? I've got only a "square" screwback but an "S"(different pin) and a "square" pinback! Micha
    4. Our 80iest cross? they are very addictive, aren't they? I'm glad you like this one,but to get the 1st class will be a challenge.......... Micha
    5. I'm with you,Bill-that's an"R".Hardy-is there a little marking at the small ring? Micha
    6. White rim case, unmarked but "G"stamped "Victoria DRGM" screwback with a card box-that stuff doesn't belong together but the price is close to a bargain................ Micha
    7. Beautyful crosses! Steve, now you just need an "old style" pin Meybauer with the maker mark at the pin...... Micha
    8. I haven't seen too many of them, just a hand full the last few years. Mine has got the big washer but shows more wear........It was impossible to exchange it without destroying the complete look. You can't always get .......... Micha
    9. They are different makers! But it looks like they shared parts(or bought them from the same company).Have a look at Godet/Meybauer-same core........ Micha
    10. Yes it is-here's the screwback variation of this type. Micha
    11. When I'm looking at my 2nd class "Fr" and "FR" your observation doesn't surprise me...a lot of different stampings and a mix of 2 cores. Micha
    12. Always when I think I now all the variations that are missing in my collection I find something new.......that's a never ending story! But a very interesting one..... Micha
    13. That one is in perfect condition-mine is not half as good as yours.....damned hard to find! Micha
    14. That's the thing with the variations-for us they are everything, for others it's just a "CD800".......The most collectors are focussed on the"spectacular" makers like Godet with hooks,KMST ect......but how many "JWS" 1st class have you seen? or the variation with the "800" stamp at the catch? Who is really interested in both core variations of the maker "square"? The names of these collectors I can count on one hand......Anyway-this variation is on Nr2 when we are talking about CD800 stampings-just the one stamped at the pin is harder to get(not to forget the 2 hinge variations ) Micha
    15. Steve, belive me-I was sweating blood because of this EK! The pics where not really good......But finally I like what I see-a fine, well detailed casted core with the wide crown in good condition.Everything like it should be! Micha
    16. I wouldn't be to shure that this is legal......he doesn't own the bars,he hasn't got the right on Thies pics-if that would go to court it could easily backfire on him! before the old auctions where deleted Wilhelms bar(or better the pic) was more than 1000!!! euros.......... Micha
    17. And the wXXXer is back http://search.ebay.de/_W0QQsassZpuma8380 But the dark side has send a mail
    18. @Joe-I had the chance to pick out the best pieces of a huge EK collection this year-and this piece was one of the EKs I've bought. There are some other interesting(or suspect) pieces, too! for example an "8","10","85"(hardware W&L)ect..... Micha
    19. For the friends of the "non-imperial iron...here's a 22 maker marked EK2 (Boerger&Co).Sorry for the bad pics but my camera is close to death! Micha Obverse
    20. Unfortunately you are right...it's a "Textbook" Floch! Micha
