    1. It seems to be that I've completed this maker-I've never seen another core or frame like this one so I'm shure this part of my search has come to an end!The maker mark is really clear but unfortunately I didn't get it any better on the pic-sorry! By the way-is there a 2nd class L/53 known? Micha
    2. These are only the 1st class EKs-I can display only a third of my imperials 2nd class(and not enough easels at all),and of course the '39 2nd class. Micha
    3. Well,I bought a new display and thought everything was fine...and then I started to pic up all the Eks here in every room....the truth began to bite-one new display is not enough! Maybe one for the imperial 1st class, one for the'39 EK1...... 39er left, imperials right. Micha
    4. This pic let my heart beat faster Could you tell us a little more about the makers(or better show these little diamonds in an own thread)? Micha
    5. Today I was working on a new display for my iron crosses....in a box I found my "delivery" papers for 2nd class 1914 EKs. I've got K.A.G. / LV/ S / Z.....how many different makers do we get together? Micha
    6. I love these FA crosses! Be careful-they are very addictive......this one is a very nice example of a wartime awarded "Knauer" piece-could you post some more shots of the case? Micha
    7. You have got some very interesting EKs in your collection-especially the engraved.Any chance to get some big shots of every single EK? Micha
    8. Look here: http://gmic.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=12362&hl=keyback Micha
    9. No,I don't think so-have a look at the Mcklemburg FF cross with the same attachment system....it wouldn't make sense to try to fix it at a brest armour! Micha
    10. No-CD 800 has used only 1 core and is totally different! This is an "Fr" Micha
    11. A while ago I had posted pics of this little diamond-now it has found his way into my collection-These EKs with the blued core are my absolute favorites! The "key back" looks like it has been for ever on this EK-the plate is still missing but I'm sure there are not so many of them around! Micha
    12. Not my collecting field, but I've got one of the first model(Eigentum des Chefs des Ausbildungswesens) with the number 58462 Is there a lower number in your collection? Micha
    13. @Robert, I hope you don't mind that I'm posting your pics here-that makes it easier for all. From what I can see it's a "textbook" W?chtler&Lange" screwback Ek in absolutely perfect condition! Congratulations Micha
    14. The pinback brother of my screwback L/50-not the nicest but I like it... Micha
    15. Well,3rd Reich combat awards are not my collecting field-a little bit from my family and something that I've bought because I was in the mood.....not enogh for an own display! And don't forget my Luftschutzhelmets.....they are all stored somewhere because they are too many to display them all.I will post pics of my EK collection when everything is ready. Micha
    16. I'm working on a new display-but I'm running out of easels! One for the Imperial EKs,another one for the '39 pieces and one for the prussian and oldenburg decorations. The few combat badges I've got will hide in a box...... Micha
    17. Hmm...good question-I think more than two hundreds( I've sold a lot of doubles)! Micha
