    1. Hello Marcus Thank you very much, for the information. I am grateful for all new information. I am new to collecting aircraft instruments, and someone once told me that these compasses was filled with some sort of oil. In one of my reference books, The Fk 38 is called an "oil filled standby magnetic compass". The book is "German aircraft interiors 1935-1945", written by Kenneth A. Merrick. I made an attempt at taking a picture of my compass. My camera does not like to take close ups, so this is what I could manage right now. Snoopy
    2. Hello Marcus Nice compass. Is it still full of oil? In my collection, I have a "Fk 38" oil filled compass. Snoopy
    3. Hi Bob That's a nice one. I have never seen that one before. The green colour, really makes it a bit special. Snoopy
    4. Hi Bob Wow, I'm speachless. What a wonderful collection of Bf 109 parts. Difficult to single out a favourite item, since they are all great. I would love to get one of those panels, with the insignia preserved, but it's just a dream. A panel from a tropical 109, well, you don't stumble over them every day. Thanks, for posting these items. 5. Hi Scott The markings on the wheel, are as follows, "350_135 SPORN U10". It allso has a manufacturers logo, with the letters "PFL". Snoopy
    6. Hi Bob Glad you like it. I have allways wanted a tail wheel like this. I have seen a few from larger aircraft, but they are a tad to big. Last summer I was offered this wheel, as part of a trade. Just the right size for my den, and from one of my favourite aircraft. I could not say no. Snoopy

    11. Hello Hmmmmm. I was not shure, where to post this one. I decided to try it here. The model was made for the DLV. I guess, for introdusing yongsters to flying, and basic avionics. Snoopy
    12. Hello I am not shure, that it's the correct forum for this one, but I would like to show you all, a tail wheel from my collection. It's of the type that was used on early types of the Messerschmidt Bf 109. It's in good condition, still with the white wall intact on both sides. Snoopy
    13. Hello This is the back of a Lw envelope, with a nice ink stamp. I am not able to read the name. If anybody can, I would be grateful. Maybe, it would be possible to do some research, on the ink stamp and name. Unfortunately, it's no letter in the envelope. Normally I would only buy envelopes with letters, but I like the stamp. 14. Hello Paul Glad you like it. It's my favourite postcard. The card has no writing on the reverse. It formerly belonged to a norwegian ss volunteer. The card came from a series of cards, that the soldiers could buy. I guess that some of them ended up in photo albums. Printed on the reverse of the card is "Gebirgsdivision "Nord" in Karelien. 15. Hello Bob I took the liberty to post a variation of the marking on your plate. This time with a straight winged eagle. I don't know why a straight winged eagle, sometimes would be used. I have seen it, on a few items. All the best Snoopy
    16. This is my "sanit?ter" armband. The armband has two faint inkstamps, and something that looks like blood. I believe that this is the regulation armband, that was worn in the field. Snoopy
    17. An original postcard, from my collection. Snoopy
    18. Hello Bob I allso have a soft spot for equipment like this. It's not the best of pictures, but here is mine. Snoopy

    22. Hello I think that the discussion threads are great. I wish that I had more knowledge about the subjects, so I could contribute more. Instead, I am going to ask, what might be a silly question. Pioneer and bautruppen, is that two words for the same thing? All the best Snoopy
    23. This is the markings on the interior of the lid. The red "Betriebsamt Luftwaffe" inkstamp, can be seen in this picture.
