    1. Hm, as far as I know, there are casted copies on the marked. I am not sure, what I have
    2. Thanks Bob for that idea, but I am afraid, that will not help. Sascha wants to know, who is the father of the bride (or the groom). That person is a senior Beamter and not a curassier. He is wearing a star of Badens Order of Berthold I. This rare decoration is the reason of Saschas interest. Best regards, Komtur.
    3. But it is unlikely that Graf zu M?nster and Stabsarzt Opper were so far east in 1915. Kind regards, Komtur.
    4. Hm, no Google match for these. Could be a place somewhere in the East ...
    5. I would say the EK II is on the first position, because it is a "Frackspange" Regards, Komtur.
    6. Oh, sorry, but I know that. The ???????? stands for the two words behind z. frdl. E. (= zur freundlichen Erinnerung) could be read "Bara Banka" or something like that. Regards, Komtur.
    7. There is a Dr. Alexander Graf zu M?nster, Rittmeister d. Res. with Johanniter Rechtsritter in the Deutscher Ordensalmanach 1908/9 and a Graf zu M?nster, Rittmeister d. Res. Rgt. Gardes du Corps with Johanniter Ehrenritter in the Rangliste 1904 (no more entry in 1906) Could it be him? Is it the right uniform for a reserve officer of the Gardes du Corps? Best regards, Komtur.
    8. Herrn Stabsarzt Dr. Opper z. frdl. E. ???????? Juli 1915
    9. Then the RAO3Sch could be one of these scarce pieces in silver gild or is it a pre 1916 produced and re-awarded golden cross? Regards, Komtur.
    10. Don?t remeber, if I showed this bar before, but it fits fine here:
    11. Viktor K?hne (1857-1945) in 1917 Generalleutnant and commander XI. Armee-Korps
    12. Otto von Below (1857-1944) in 1916 GdI and commander 8. Armee
    13. Julius von Langsdorf (1866-1945) as major and commander of IR 184 GODET style plm!
    14. Wasn?t there a connection of Klietmann to GODET via his wife? The star above is not of the well known Wagner style. In my opinion the hook and some other details are made in the way of GODET stars. Best regards, Komtur.
    15. Could there be an engraved number on the back plate? Any other marks to be found? Best regards, Komtur.
    16. Poor Ernst. I thought he was the happy one of the two Dr. Hinzes, not Max. Thanks. The last two possible medical officers with HOH3X from Geile (Milit?rwochenblatt) are: Dr. Elbe RL 1914 - StA JBtl. 3 - RAO4 Milit?rwochenblatt (Willi Geile) OStA HOH3X 23.07.1918 Ehrenrangliste - GOA a.D. Prof. Dr. Rammstedt RL 1914 - OStA K?r. Rgt. 4 - RAO4 Milit?rwochenblatt (Willi Geile) OStA HOHRX 27.06.1918 Ehrenrangliste - GOA a.D. Lundstr?m/Krause - EH2bX I know, that there are lots of other non-medical officers with the combination RAO4/HOH3X who may got the red cross medal too. Best regards, Komtur.
    17. May I ask again if there are decorations to excluse Dr. Ernst Hinze DAO 1908/9 ObStA Hus. Rgt. 5 - PrRA4 * PrZM RL 1914 - OStA Hus. Rgt. 5 - RAO4 * DAK25 HOHRX 11.07.1918 GOA (Willi Geile) Ehrenrangliste - GOA a.D. Divisionsarzt Garde-Ersatz-Div. Kind regards, Komtur.
    18. What a pity, but thanks! Next try Dr. Hildemann DAO 1908/9 ObStA Drag. Rgt. 17 - PrRA4 * PrZM RL 1914 - GOA Divisionsarzt 39. Division - RAO4 MG2c HOHRX 16.10.1917 (Willi Geile) Kind regards, Komtur.
