    1. I'm afraid I don't recognize the badge beneath the pilot badge in this photo that I have. Any ideas?
    2. BTW, there's a guy selling a CD of WWII photos. Here's the pic he uses for his ebay ad. I'm beginning to think that maybe this guy was triplets or something! --Kevin
    3. Wow, some nice guns you've posted! Those would really jazz up a display! --Kevin
    4. I couldn't find any details of his U.S. trip on the site. Do you know where/when he will visit?
    5. A great set and a wonderful print, Joel. You were very fortunate to be able to get all that in one shot! --Kevin
    6. Thanks, Scott. The man front-and-center is NSFK-Gruppenf?hrer Karl Sauke. Here's another photo of him I found on the internet.
    7. Large jpress photo, so quite a bit of detail can be seen, like the NSFK pilot badge and NSFK daggers being worn. Lots of berets in wear, also, which I don't see too often. --Kevin
    8. I thought maybe it was to keep your writing fingers warm. Never saw one before.
    9. Your hard work has certainly paid off, many-fold. Good for you!
    10. Nice work, David! I'm sure that Mr. "wessel" will be thrilled. :jumping:
    11. Hey Rob, nice helmet. I'm afraid you'll need more than some goggles to finish it up. Like a flight suit, boots, gloves, life vest, chute, ... The chute material you have is hard to see, but it looks like it could be the real deal. --Kevin
    12. I hadn't seen this thread before I posted my loupe. Excellent to have the case! Great photos, too. Where did you come across those, Fran?ois? --Kevin
    13. Very neat item, as are all LW survival gear. Thanks for including the period photos, too.
    14. Not sure of the source, Paul. This was a photo I saved for reference some time ago.
    15. Keep in mind that a relative, "friend", or caretaker could have switched badges at some time, unbeknownst to the vet. I'll bet it's not a rare occurrence. --Kevin
