    1. and......................... they also have his original uniform !!!! BUT what do you think............ what order is on his uniform, what medal is it???? hhhhmmmmmmm???? :speechless:
    2. and one more very interesting thing.... they have some pictures there of the first captain of the ship , Mr. H.H.Ahlers , he is wearing an order which I cannot 100% ID..... maybe someone here can....
    3. Last week I spent some days in Hamburg.... in the habour is a sailing ship , the Rickmer Rickmers , which is today a museum and a restaurant. In the museum there is a painting of the man who gave this ship his name : Rickmer Clasen Rickmers , a reeder from Hamburg if I understood everything correct.... interesting for us are the orders the man wears on this painting!!!
    4. yes this should be Marine Flieger Abteilung ......................
    5. thank you for this good shot - sounds really good !!! Any information about this man when he was in service or when he retired?
    6. You are absolutely right, sorry I was a bit confused because of the photographer from Schwerin...... sometimes you see the things not as they are... :wacky:
    7. yes you are right..... it`s Siam crown order, danish dannebrog and Russia St.Anne..... the other one I am not shure and of course Mecklenburg Wendische Krone.... I think the written words say: Adolf 1908
    8. Unfortunately I am not able to "read" the uniforms and ranks as good as I want to.... so here are 2 portraits, please can you tell me what rank the officers have and for the Mecklenburg picture maybe a unit??? First:
    9. but now we can see clearly the colour of the pale blue ribbon.... it is beautiful cornflower-blue - so Friedrich or crown order - from the first picture I would have gone on a greek redemeer...
    10. You are right.... it is reported to ebay but this will not help much. In this special case I think we have to ask the police for help because it is a 100% criminal action... The medal bar you are talking about has been sold by ME to a well known collecting friend from germany who STILL OWNS THIS BAR !!! The seller ruestkammer88 now uses MY photo which I can show again here to sell a bar that he does not own - what can be more criminal??????????
    11. N?5 is a bit unusual but not impossible........... 97 and Hindenburg, why not....
    12. Hi Timo, bar N?2 should have the Tirol medal in third place.... if there are small green stripes as I can see..... very common rememberance medal. your saxon bar N?1 should have one of the rememberance crosses of the S?chsische Kriegerbund in last place - not so often to find.... there are many different "classes" of this inofficial award
    13. wooooooooooooooooooow...... some kind of science fiction ending prices :speechless:
    14. oooooooohhhhhhh............. I think the remaining parts will make more money than the bar would have made check it out... rising and rising..... :banger:
    15. it doesn`t matter what awards the ribbons are for.......... as Rick said, these bars are 100% Frankensteins!!!
    16. but he has most of the ripped off orders and medals in his other auctions........ so we know the classes of the orders and hopefully this ribbon bar will get a name again....
    17. here is the complete group again.... the missing rest has been stolen from me two years ago... Timo has got now the three remaining ribbon bars from me and the "buy it first - option" if the other bars will surface again some time to reunite the group again.... Dr.Gerhard Sayffaerth Staatsanwalt and Major im F?hrerhauptquartier, during ww1 commander of a Kraftwagenkolonne.
    18. Timo............. your collection is not as small as you want to tell us........ always growing with good pieces!!!!
