    1. Garth! Your trade badge collection is out of this world! Your farrier badge is the first I have ever seen. One day, I will catch up! You have some real gems in there!
    2. Mike, Those badges and medals are awesome! Amazing how even through defeat, the pride is still there! These badges are more than relics, they are a reflection of a people...I know... kinda sappy! But they do present a lot of personality! Bob, What were the colors of the remaining crosses? Do you think that it would have been physically possible for one person to have been present for all five battles? The bar you have posted is one of the sharpest bars I have seen. It is a shame that the medals had to be removed with the establishment of the HK! Regards Paul
    3. Thanks for the info on the crosses! They are definately beautiful! Mike, Were these veteran's badges worn at certain events or were they worn as the vet felt so inclined? Please post away! No boredom here! Paul
    4. Rick, How many of these enameled crosses are there? Do you have pics of them all? Paul
    5. Hi Juan! I as medical is one of my main focuses so the Heer medical NCO is here to stay. Yet the infantry Lt ensemble is different story... but it would have to be a special LW Tunic! Regards Paul
    6. Garth, You are right! While I know next to nothing on the various British units or insignia they are very sharp!! I have never before seen such detail and craftsmanship in military insignia!! Beautiful collection! Regards Paul
    7. Thank you Don! I am trying to stream line things into more of a Luftwaffe/medical/non combattant focus. My last real piece of collateral that I am looking to swap in the Heer Infantry ensemble(sword, hat, etc). I really like it, but I am looking for a gem of a LW tunic to put it toward!
    8. Gerd, Thank you for the translation. I can read German well enough to obtain a solid understanding to what is being stated, yet in case of a purchase I want to be 100% sure! Here is what the online translator came up with! "It acts with and the down shown stucco of my experts opinion described above after around a contemporary original. Material, quality and execution correspond to the technical literature provable standard course-adapted in me. Slight tolerances are possible." I do love collecting LS medals. At the time however, TR are the only ones I have. I would like to branch out to the Imperial States soon. I have not seen any of those for sale. The ones I have seen are very high priced! Thank you again! Paul
    9. I was actually looking at those just 20 seconds ago. Those gulls are just horrible. And the backs... Judging by the return policy, he must sincerely believe them to be real. Regards Paul Thank you for posting these!
    10. No matter what you call them, I still call them interesting and unique!
    11. Next is my new NC EK medal bar. I sold a couple of items to get this beauty! Within the next week or so, I hope to be posting a large lot of items I traded for! Thank you for looking!
    12. I have a couple of Updates with a lot more coming up soon... First pictures show my new Lifesaving medal(the one in the center) being displayed with it's brothers!
    13. Thanks Bob! As you can tell, they are my favorite TR era medal! For the sake of the pocket book(or trade resources), I hope that this is the last major variation on this medal! However, if there are more... please let me know!
    14. Very Very nice! Those field promotion tabs are awesome! They were for a Major promoted to an ObstLt! Anyway to see a shot of the backs? Also Love the engineer LT set as well! Paul
    15. Thank you Don for that interesting picture... makes one think! Rick, Thank you for your comments as well. It is a really perplexing thought... I know that there were only 13,000 people(recorded) that received the NC EK2 in WW1. Over 5,000,000 Combattant EK2s in WW1 and lots of spanges for acts of valor in WW2. Somewhere out there, an awardee of the NC EK2 was reconized for acts of valor in WW2 as well!! Regards PAul
    16. I will look forward to seeing your upcoming posts! Regards Paul Reck
    17. Bob, You have some truely mindblowing bars!! I love them!! That medal bar must have gone to a mid to high ranking officer! Maybe a doctor?
    18. close up of the important part... If someone could provide an accurate translation, I would be greatly appreciative. It seems that the on line babblefish program sees more than one translation to a lot of the works here...
    19. Yet another collecting focus... the 1937 Lifesaving Medal. This is a new variation(to me) that I had to have. As far as I know, there are three major variations to this medal. Here is my new baby...
    20. I love it! I am new to Imperial so please forgive yet another simple question... Is this bar tracable because of the W?rttemberg Wilhelmscross ? Paul
