    2. That looks to be a nice set up!! What are the cyphers on the shoulder boards? Can we see photos of the sleeve eagle? Your friend is a lucky or rich man! lol
    3. This flask was brought back by my great grandfather (mother's side) after WW1. Does anyone have any details on this unit and where they would have served... esp after Sept 1918?
    4. Does anyone know where to find more information on my Great Grandfather's WW1 unit. The unit information was on his aid bag, pictured below.
    5. Final piece for now... It looks like he might have met someone from Australia ?
    6. Just because it is made of steel does not mean that it is "bullet proof".
    7. He had 100s of post cards and photos. I will share some of the more interesting with you. CAUTION... some are graphic. I will start off with some armor.
    8. Remove the kit from the cloth cover and it is still MINT! All contents are present too!
    9. Some French and German buttons. There is still some thread wrapped around the back of the French button!
