    1. Hello Mike. Maaaaany thanks for your help. I hope you don?t had any trouble therefore to go to the archive again. My interest in Stadler results from the fact that he served in WW 1 in IR 134 as a young officer. He was born in Plauen where his father (?) have had a embroidery-company. I sent you my mail to your adress. Gru? Stefan
    2. With the help of a friend of Ingo and me we found out, that the person is Alfred Hanson from IR 181. The same pic. is in the regimental history Gru? Stefan
    3. As far as I know souch type of uniform was introduced for experimental purposes in the late 20ths/early 30ths but never was introduced. Today?s german Bundeswehr parade uniforms look?s the same way. Will take a look in the Kraus-Book of Reichswehr uniforms this evening. Gru? Stefan
    4. Hi Coldstream, nice saxon Offiziers-Stellverteter. Can you recognize the number on the shoulderboards? Regards Stefan
    5. OK Mike, many thanks for that. Cheers Stefan
    6. Here we have a picture of him. It?s from the 3rd volume of the regimental history (picture volume) from 1925. Gru? Stefan
    7. Hi Mike. Coooooooooollllllllllllllll Didn?t expected that anyone will reply me for my question. From what source is this? Can?t see precise the entry on the 2nd picture. Could you please tell me what is written there or maybe make a bigger picture? Regards Stefan
    8. I?m sorry to say but that is not an artillery-officer because of the german cuffs the man wear. Saxon artillery wore swedish cuffs. Also the shoulderboards have white underground which is another indication for infantry. Gru? Stefan
    9. For me it looks like "179" - also saxon. Gru? Stefan
    10. "Sachsen Zeithain 1912" Zeithain was the training ground for XIX. Armee-Korps, so i think the picture was made during manoevers ath this place. That would also fit with the units IR 104 and 133. Regards Stefan
    11. The unit should be Feld-Artillerie-Rgt. Nr. 11 Gru? Stefan
    12. Allerhand Achtung Jens, Dein "Versuch" traf ?berwiegend ins Schwarze http://www.militaerpass.net/19id.htm Gru? Stefan
    13. Hello Christophe. The medal is marked "F.U." Sent you pm. Gru? Stefan
    14. Heinert volunteered in 1913 to the regiment and belonged to the 1. company since I think 1918/19. At this time he was the only member of his company who served the whole time in one company. His later company commander was http://gmic.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=23524&hl=zehmisch Gru? Stefan
    15. Hi Ulsterman. It?s a funny thing with the book: on the same day, I visited Heinert?s grandson, I got the book from a good friend of mine. And when I look inside, I found this dedication from the family Oskar Fritzsche - another gold-medal-winner from IR134 -to his nephew, for confirmation So, this was an absolutely amazing weekend. Gru? Stefan
    16. Last Weekend I made a visit to the grandson of Walther Heinert from IR 134, recipent of the Goldene St. Heinrichs-Medaille. Here a picture of his medal-bar. Gru? Stefan

    19. Hi. Can someone please do a lookup in the Oldenburg-Rolls for Konrad Appelbaum, Hauptmann d.Res. in IR 134. In 1906 he received the Ehrenritterkreuz 2nd class. I?m searching informations, what he do in civilian life. Thanks so far. Gru? Stefan
    20. Where do you get this picture????? Are you the one who got his estate at ebay for ca. 2 years? Please can you send me a 300 dpi-scan of it? I still have 3 another pictures of him, one i got from the user "Leutwein" here in the Forum. Mit neidischen Gr??en Stefan

    22. Closeup of medalbar Nr. 2 I think, first is PKr4X, SA3cX and last DSWA? If so, Hauptmann Walter Sievert would fit. Gru? und Dank Stefan
    23. Hi pals. Picture shows officers from IR 134 in August 1914 at main train station in Plauen before being departured "in?s Feld". Is there any possibility to identify Nr. 1 and 2? I have a suggestion that 1 is the regimental commander Oberst von der Decken and 2 Hauptmann Sievert. But i?m unsure. Gru? Stefan
