Heer Oberstleutnant Alfred Stadler
IR 134 replied to IR 134's topic in Germany: Third Reich: Research, Documentation & Photographs
Hello Mike. Maaaaany thanks for your help. I hope you don?t had any trouble therefore to go to the archive again. My interest in Stadler results from the fact that he served in WW 1 in IR 134 as a young officer. He was born in Plauen where his father (?) have had a embroidery-company. I sent you my mail to your adress. Gru? Stefan -

IR 134 replied to Gordon Williamson's topic in Germany: Weimar Republic & Deutsche Freikorps
As far as I know souch type of uniform was introduced for experimental purposes in the late 20ths/early 30ths but never was introduced. Today?s german Bundeswehr parade uniforms look?s the same way. Will take a look in the Kraus-Book of Reichswehr uniforms this evening. Gru? Stefan -

Hi Mike. Coooooooooollllllllllllllll Didn?t expected that anyone will reply me for my question. From what source is this? Can?t see precise the entry on the 2nd picture. Could you please tell me what is written there or maybe make a bigger picture? Regards Stefan  -
Hi Ulsterman. It?s a funny thing with the book: on the same day, I visited Heinert?s grandson, I got the book from a good friend of mine. And when I look inside, I found this dedication from the family Oskar Fritzsche - another gold-medal-winner from IR134 -to his nephew, for confirmation So, this was an absolutely amazing weekend. Hi. Can someone please do a lookup in the Oldenburg-Rolls for Konrad Appelbaum, Hauptmann d.Res. in IR 134. In 1906 he received the Ehrenritterkreuz 2nd class. I?m searching informations, what he do in civilian life. Thanks so far. Gru? Stefan -
Hi pals. Picture shows officers from IR 134 in August 1914 at main train station in Plauen before being departured "in?s Feld". Is there any possibility to identify Nr. 1 and 2? I have a suggestion that 1 is the regimental commander Oberst von der Decken and 2 Hauptmann Sievert. But i?m unsure. Gru? Stefan
