    1. Ed, Here is what I can read from my pic (I have tried to respect the exact wording): "His Highness Maharaja Dirha(xx)ra Singh Muhindeb Bahadur (xx) Patalia". Each X = one letter. Of course, this is probably not correct, but it is how it seems to be stamped on the medal. Ch.
    2. Ed, thanks for the comments. I saw it "in the flesh" and greatly appreciated it, even if the 1911 display is not in an easy place to take time to admire them (too much light, hung quite high, and people working around...). Ch.
    3. Ed, Excellent order... and scan!!! Is this wonderful piece in your collection ? If yes, congrats!! Cheers. Ch.
    4. And to complete the exhibition frame #1, some Indian States medals I can't identify : 19. Indian state of Patalia (?) Medal. Ed, this medal does not seem to correspond to any of the Patalia medals referenced in your website... Even the Maharajah's name does not seem to appear in your list... Any idea ? I'm sure you will ID it!!! Another wrong ribbon, I guess... Ch. Pic : ? Christophe ? ChR Collection
    5. Is there a specific or dedicated room to receive these ? Ch.
    6. Interesting to notice that the two suspensions are not exactly the same (see the reverse)... We have to check this... Cheers. Ch.
    7. What's the size of these ? Are they table medals ? Or something you "proudly" display in the display cabinet in your office ? Ch.
    8. Ed, don't worry... I'm here to keep it alive... Cheers. Ch.
    9. Chuck, It's your turn now !! Don't be afraid about competition ; I'm sure your question will give us hard time!!! Cheers. Ch.
    10. Ed, I disagree with you on this one. I find these plastic medal bars quite aesthetic... (as soon as they are not worn on the uniform, where they maybe look less attractive...). Ch.
    11. Just to add that the one shown here seems to be attached to a real Order of Lenin's supension and ribbon. It is not the Umlalatova's Order of Stalin ribbon. Cheers. Ch.
    12. Ed, What do you think of Chuck's last answer ? Is he the winner ? Ch.
