Hi I bought the dress tunic about 6 months ago. I was given the oportunity to buy the officers upgraded combat tunic last month. They both belonged to LT Frotz Beer. I would like to thank the seller as he could have sold the second tunic to anybody else. It is interesting that I did not realized that Fritz Beer died at 21 years. I think we get sometimes to caught on the exitement of getting a historical piece that we sometimes forget the terrible reality of WWII. thanks JUan

Thanks for the comments. I looked for 2 years for a nice General tunic. I was lucky tha it belonged to a pioneer General. Generalmajor Hans Bessel helped in the constuction of the Gustav line. I bought the tunic from Helmut Weitze that got it from the General's grandson. thanks Juan -

Hi I just wanted to share with gentlemen a story. I try to collect named tunics with the hope that I will find the owner?s identity. I bought a nice pioneer piped tunic 2 years ago. It was named to Haupmann Fiedler. I was able to find the owner?s identity. It was sad to find that he was killed less than 2 months before the end of the war. You can see more photos of the tunic in this link. The tunic is # 7 http://gmic.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=5526
