    1. I believe this is a hat badge, but that is all I'll guess about it. I did a Google search using UBIQUE and found THREE hat badges; 1.Royal Regiment of Artillery 2.Royal Regiment of Canadian Artillery 3.Royal Austrialian Artillery All three show the same image, just different colours so I am a bit confused/ As usual, I'm sure I'll have info shortly. As far as I can decipher, the words are: QUO VAS ET GLORIA DUCUVT TOP: UBIQUE Thanks Ed
    2. Last set of my DOC patches: Hope you enjoyed them. Collecting police department (Law Enforcement) patches is a fun and interesting hobby. My last count was 1600+. If you have any extras laying around (ANY country) I'd be glad to take them off your habds (or trade too). Thanks for looking Ed
    3. Thought these Department of Corrections (themed) patches from my collection may be interesting to some. First two are Florida DOC patches (1st-Right shoulder 2nd-Left shoulder) More pics later. Ed
    4. Now-THIS is why I LOVE this site!!!!! Fantastic what you get by just posting a picture found in a trash dump! Well done all. Ed
    5. Thanks for your time and efforts. I appreciate it. Ed
    6. I have a few more items I'm looking for help with. 1. Pin (3/4" wide X 1" high) 2. The Helicopter Ambulance patch may be US Army, but I can't seem to locate it. Used Google and a couple of other search engines. Thanks Ed
    7. Sorry the picture isn't too clear. Best I could do. It is a lapel pin Words under the POLICE read; "May You Be With the POLICE" Thanks in advance. Ed
    8. Thanks Peter, Is there any way of identifying a specific unit or area? Ed
    9. Just a bunch of things I have collected over the years and some things from this Christmas but haven't gotten around to sorting them out yet. Ed
    10. Got these from my son. Need help with details/values please. Thanks in advance for your help Ed
    11. Thanks Mervyn. I'll get some close-ups and post.
    12. I'm sure I posted these somewhere in the past, but will repost now. These are some of my police vehicles collection.
    13. They are all originals. The serial numbers match and actually some still have the original seals on them. I was actually able to go online and track the histories of most of the vessels as well as verify from the ZIPPO web site.
    14. John, Sorry, but I have no idea of value. Keep checking back here as other members may have a better feel for your question. Good luck. Ed
    15. Check this out. (You'll need to scroll down a bit) http://www.vetshome.com/military_assistance_patches_3.htm Military Assistance Patches History Berlin District Worn from: Late 1940's - 1960's. The colors black, yellow, and red are taken from the German flag. The Brandenburg Gate is symbolic of the city of Berlin. I would guess the gold leaves are for a US Army Major. Ed
    16. Part of my son's collection of Zippo lighters. A few years ago we were in Hawaii and went to their weekend "flea market". He saw one with a US Navy ship on it and stopped to ask about it. The guy said he could have it for $5.00, then asked if he was interested in any more? My boy said sure. The guy brought out a BOX full, all Navy ships. My son wound up with 22 total. The guy gave him a "deal". He got all of them for $50.00!
    17. Try this anyway: http://www.bing.com/search?q=boston+depot+combat+boots&qs=AS&form=QBLH&pq=boston+depot&sc=8-12&sp=2&sk=AS1
    18. I have to go along with Paul about these being pins or badges. Agree you show pictures of them as patches, but the three displayed look more solid than cloth. No arguments, just another observation Ed
    19. Didn't the competition close 11/18/12?
    20. Found it :-) Cap badge of the Cameronians 2nd Bat Scottish Rifles http://www.bing.com/images/search?q=british+SR+badge&view=detail&id=18ADBA35AFA1E56867F7A49B1A1353ACF481FE1F&first=37
