I always considered it as a challenge to bring together in the same collection theses three WW1 war crosses, the most beautiful in my opinion... From left to right : - Saxony Weimar Wilhelm Ernst war cross - Reuss War merit cross - Saxony Cobourg & Gotha Carl Eduard war cross... The two first crosses are mine, the third is an image taken from google, to complete the view... You guessed... I search the third one... A day, maybe... If ever... someone... 😁

Last and recent find... A very nice Wilhelm Ernst Kriegskreuz, from Sachsen Weimar... Special mention to @Deruelle, who is fond of this kind of Saxon thing ... 😁 A really nice cross, wanted since a looonngg time... Not perfect, the right laurel have been repaired, but the enamels are generally intact... One-sided swords... A very long wait for this one... This deserves some better pictures... 🤩🤩🤩

Really hard to remember the dates of acquisition... I think I never showed this Knight's cross of Baden Berthold I. order... 🤪 Short break... I'll continue after dinner... A few more germans, and few imperial austrians too...

And now, a great purchase, 2 or 3 years ago (begining of the covid pandemic if I remember...)... A so lovely and nice order !!! Brunswick Henry the lion order, knight cross 2nd class... Stamped S at the top of the crown (back)... Some enamel chip on the green laurel... 🤩

And I don't know if had the occasion of showing this lady's Strelitz cross... (Ribbon has been replaced by a new and modern one...) 1 or 2 pieces found by year... Not really attentive on auctions, sellers... but a few opportunities seized when I had time...

These 5-6 past years have been very busy (home, child x2, pandemic etc.), but I never really cease to collect some imperial stuffs...
