Hello I hate to say but I don't like this bar the ribbons seem new and order seems off iam no expert but seems to me that it looks like fakes coming out of austria but wait for other with more knowledge than me

Hello I like the bar ! but not the cross I have had two in my collections in the past one issue piece and and other a period spange struck piece and this one does not come close to them ! something about the color send warning flags up for me !!! but I am no expert there are others on this forum that have more knowledge then me !!

Hello I believe this cross to be a wearers copy Check out medalnets site there is info on it about original crosses ! and yes it is mounted on bar in correct way!

super bar !!! I watched that one for a long time on that website but was unsure of the combination !!! and never recieved a reply from them on picture of back of bar! also exchange rate to pound was killer !!! anyway love that st henry order !

been notified by someone he is listed in 363rd infantry regt history on page 79"PVT James R Wixon firing on a machinegun bunker But was killed " also listed in honor roll of 91st division seached the 363rd regt history but it is out of print ! does anybody have a copy they could scan page 79?

sweet bar never found anything like that on my local craigs list !!!! maybe just slip in a new Iron cross with out messing up ribbons? I would just leave it as is !!!! :cheeky:

Searching personnel not given. Other crews on mission report seeing light on the water near the Island of Kane. Weather Bad and ACK-Ack fire over Target heavy and accurate. There are two planes liste with this same # black mariah and black Mariah II ???? was 1st plane fixed and turned into II later this # shows up as scraped jan 1943 My ? is did they find wreck or is it same # diffrent planes???? If found wreck why are the crew still MIA /FOD bodies never recovered?

nice officially engraved medals to a kia from westchester Co ny born 1925 enlisted 1943 got this one coming for a research project wrote army for file any I don't know any more than this no unit no theater If anyone can tell me any info would be great

thanks rick i figured it was a long shot! I do like this bar !! what was criteria for finnish award was it for combat in finland ? or just serving in finnish waters ??? i am getting into medal bars with finnish awards! :speechless:

what naval units went to finland? could this be Ided ???can't be many with both medals???? so as a junior officier he was entilted to 15 yrs nco cross???? or was this a senior nco???

is it rare to find both on a bar??
