    1. Hello! I've in collection such set of US Army medical colonel's shoulder boards for blue uniform. I think that they are from 1950th.

    3. Nice boards! But if you want to represent early type of boards (pre-1955) you should to find big emblems. Look here for understanding what I mean. Brother from Border Guards. :D
    4. Such type of patches was begun to use since 1969 for the parade uniform of EM, NCO, extended servicemen and warrant officers ("praporshiks"). Such type of patches was officially used untill end of USSR in 1991.? If it's interesting, I can show you all variants of patches used by Army ans some patches used by KGB, MVD and border guards.
    5. Shoulder board for junior officer for cream shirt. 1970-80th. Button is not correct. This button is for Navy admirals and generals.
    6. Boards for white dress uniform of junior officers (1972-91) Gold small aluminium stars.
    7. Narrow boards were canceled in 1958. But officers continue to wear it for 1958-59 years. I think that owner of this coat is able to use narrow type of boards as like as type with regular width. Post-WW2 shoulder boards of major of medical service pre-1958 from my collection.
    8. Hi Doc! Sorry for mistake. Your greatcoat has a loop at the shoulders and a hole where the button would be sewn/attached for slip-on boards. So, you need 6-sided slip-on boards...
    9. Hi! As this coat has light grey colour - it's parade greatcoat. As it has buttons with "1958" stamp - this greatcoat is post 1958. So, you can use 2 types of shoulder boards: 1) If you want to make greatcoat 1958-62 you must use wide silver shoulder boards with red piping (4-sided) 1) If you want to make greatcoat post 1962 you must use wide light grey shoulder boards with red piping (4-sided) Hope this will help you. I can try to help you with finding of this boards if you tell me what type of greatcoat you prefer to make: 1958-62 or post 1962.
