    2. Hi Rick, Yes the fakers are getting better.. Last couple years they even have been selling Russian silver stamps on ebay.. I posted a FAKE doctors badge in the fakes thread..silver marked and tested as silver.. George

    4. Yuri must have been very proud of his service to the Russian Wore his wings until he died in 1929. Sometims even in his Chinese uniform. Here he is civil dress and in his formal wear as a diplomat. George
    5. Hi Gor, Here what I know at this time of the Original owner of the Provisional Government Pilot wings. Yuri Vladimirovich Ly.. His Chinese name..Li ZhongXin Born 1895, Died 1929 Harbin China Raised in Moscow by a Russian family Foster Father was a Barrister/Lawyer Don?t know anything about his Chinese family I was told that Important Chinese families sometimes sent there Children to live and learn the Western way of life and be groomed in the was of the west.. Yuri went to military schools and late in 1916 became a pilot. Seems later he finished his training and in 1917 became an officer and his new Provisional wings. He also served in the Chinese/Moscow Russia Diplomatic Secretary Flew for the Whites during the civil war as a Military reconnaissance pilot. Later after the end of the civil war he became a diplomat for the ROC. Stationed in Moscow. Sometime in 1920's he returned to China Made his home in Harbin where he met My grandmother, A well to do Russian emigre. I have not been able to find much more. I guess civil war records are nonexistence. George

    9. I was assuming they would attach to the uniform as the Germans would attach a IC 1. Chain stiched loops and it would hang there. I took this pic off another site.. George

    11. 935 is a high grade silver mark.. european mark, not Germany they usually use 800, 825. and not russian.. just a thought. George

    15. Well it finally arrived. This looks to be like Chucks example, Worn gilt version. The plane on my copy is mounted a little higher.. Same maker BA. and the reverse George
