    1. Come on Chuck, it's not very plain What about this crown? You won't find it on any others red cross badges (at least not in the center of the enameled cross ) By the way, you will find this badge in the book you have in your library. I am talking about "Russian medical badges" Check pages 30 and 31. This badge described (under #69) simply as "Badge of Red Cross" - time to correct this mistake (manually! ) Best, Nick
    2. Yep. "Yellow metal + greater thickness" in interval 60 000 - 106 000 (for "medal for bravery" this interval will be 83 000 - 119 000)
    3. Maybe version of badge for nurses who went to R-J war? Here you have photo of first such group from Mariinsky commune.
    4. This badge was worn on a round rosette of a white moire. The right to wear the badge was given to the nurses, who served in the commune no less than 5 years. But why St.George ribbon?!
    5. Hmmm Tricky... This one looks very much like fist type (established on 26.03.1891) of Mariinsky Red Cross commune of medical nurses at Kiev badge .
