    1. So they call this one "2nd type" ... Sometimes they call it "for wearing on button" version (the date of introduction is December 3, 1912)
    2. There was no regulation for wearing these badges... But check out this jetton on creme ribbon
    3. The most interesting thing is that there are actually two variations of this jettons. Previous was the "little one". Here comes biggy
    4. Specimen that completely lost all its gild (looks familiar Chuck?)
    5. Of course it is not mine Chuck. They say that this badge was found in Tbilisi in 1956 during dismantling of old brewery. Unfortunately I don`t have photos of reverse.
    6. Standart set of marks on these badges "ВД" + St.Petersburg district hall-mark after 1908 "Kokoshnik + 84"
    7. As far as I understand the main manufacturer of these badges was Eduard. Cover of original price list for these badges from Eduard
    8. Ok. So this could be this extra rare badge in gold (although I have no proofs of authenticity)
    9. Second doc reads "To Major of Royal Prussian service commander of Guards sapper (?) battalion sir Erich ... November 15, 185 (2?) ... St.Stanislaus 2nd class"
    10. But the best source of info (as for today) undoubtedly will be series of articles by Tararushkin A.N. These articles appeared in journal Petersburg collector in 2010 (issues 57, 58, 59, 60 and 62) http://pk.awards-su.com/ and in 2011 (issues 64, 65 and 66)
