On second thought of course it should be this separate original soviet medal. But the asking price is simply unreal. Even the medal without inscription "участнику войны" couldn`t cost that much!!!

Naturally our Prince was a cavalier of two early Japanese medals - 1889 Imperial Constitution Promulgation Commemorative Medal and 25th Wedding Anniversary Medal. Thanks to our colleague Pieter we have an opportunity to examine two documents for these medals that belonged to Marquis Sanetsune Tokudaiji. Prince (at the time of awarding he was simple Marquis) Sanetsune Tokudaiji/徳大寺実則 (January 10, 1840 –June 4, 1919) was a Minister of the Imperial Household and Lord Keeper of the Privy Seal of Japan during the Meiji epoch. Hey Rob, here comes another japanese group (with victory medal so it is inside your collecting area ). It was sold recently with this classy legend "Due to the information of the consignor from the estade of a General-Major which is possible due to the absence of any order on the medalbar as they would have been won on the neck-ribbon or sash."
