Just sharing a couple of Verlinden figures I assembled and painted quite a long time ago. 1st, Adolf Galland, 200mm: Dolf

Nice collection! That complete set of all nine enameled ribbons makes me green... I'm still missing two (for the OSB and the OCV) after all this time Not to mention the 10 cloth ribbons I'm still looking for... Dolf

Luftwaffe For Me109 lovers!
Dolf replied to Dave B's topic in Germany: Third Reich: Uniforms, Headwear, Insignia & Equipment
Dave, Wow! Thanks a lot for the links! The Me 109 is my favorite fighter ever produced, I just love that bird! Cheers Dolf PS: Btw, the 2nd link, Post #1, is it still working? It's not working for me -
Ed, Wow! Very nice collection indeed! Specially those pieces I don't have myself, such as A 25.1 (or is it A 25.2? the one posted yesterday on another thread, right? 1st piece, far left, 2nd row, 2nd pic) and A 26 (the piece to the right of this one just mentioned) and D 02 (3rd piece, left to right, 1st row, 4th pic). Btw, I see you have two Medal for Unselfishness (1st and 2nd pieces, far left, 2nd row, 3rd pic). I have one, mine is A 40.4 I believe, as it is not numbered. Which ones you have? Can you please post closeups, front and back of these two, please? Thanks in advance. Congrats once again! Dolf

Mongolia Order of the Red Banner of Industrialization MPR
Dolf replied to Vatjan's topic in People's Republic Mongolia
WOW! and WOW! and WOW again!!! I have no words! I know $8,500 is a lot of money for just one piece , but this one is absolutely !!! Recently 3 persons won the biggest jackpot ever on an European game called "Euromillions", each got some 61 millions... I wish I could win the big lottery too!... I know what I'd do with part of that money Congrats! Dolf -
And the screwnut for this Badge. This one is quite more flat than those for A 61.1 and A 61.2 as well as for the all gilted one posted above. The diameter of the screwnuts for A 61.1 + A 61.2 + the all gilted type is 24,77mm. The diameter of this one for A 61.3 is 23,85mm. The material for this one also seems different, probably bronze or copper. Dolf

OMH 2nd Class, pinback (Order style). This one weights 25,70gr. The "2" is quite different from the T2V1 (#174753) posted above. On this piece, not only on the green wreath becomes yellow under a black light (as the previous piece) but also the central part of the top red banner, where there are the letters, react to the black light. Also on this piece as on the previous one, under a black light the central medallion blue enamel kind of glows a bit. This doesn't happen with any of the other pieces previously posted! Opinions? OMH 2nd Class, pinback (Order style). This one weights 28,10gr. The "2" is only slightely different from the T2V1 (#174753) posted above, even thought not that much. On this piece the enamel (?) of the green wreath is different of all above posted OMH. Under a black light this one becomes yellow, making me think that either this is cold enamel, or paint! Now, two more OMH, both pinback (Order style), but which for some reason seem a bit different from the T2V1 (#174753) posted above. One difference is the weight: #174753 weights 29,00gr; both pieces I'll post below don't weight that much. Another difference is the blue on the central medallion: I'd consider both ones I'm posting now as MB (Medium Blue), or eventually a MDB (Medium Dark Blue), but not as DB (Dark Blue) as #174753. The number "2" is also slightely different, specially on the 2nd piece I'll post. And there are other differences I'll list below. Dolf

Another 2nd Class, pinback (simple style), T2V2. (Apparently a A 35.2) This one would be a VDB (Very Dark Blue) Obverse: Dolf

Same, reverse, S/N 58031. I've recently read on another thread that Jan would consider this a T2V1, as apparently there would exist also for the 1st Class another variation with a simple pinback as for the 2nd Class. I've never seen one of these. Dolf

Another 1st Class, pinback (Order style), T2. (Apparently a A 36.1) I call this one a VDB (Very Dark Blue). Obverse: Dolf
