    1. Here's another one with a document. Awarded to Vita Mandi in 1946
    2. That last one his excellent - and he certainly doesn't appear to be Mongolian!
    3. Not as spectacular as some of the other recent postings, but I'm a big fan of this award and am also very interested in related documents. Attached one for SB nr 291, awarded 15-12-1960 No pic of the recipient unfortunately http://gmic.co.uk/uploads/monthly_01_2012/post-679-0-88482300-1326159055.jpghttp://gmic.co.uk/uploads/monthly_01_2012/post-679-0-90657600-1326159103.jpg
    4. A barrage of activity on here the past couple of days, and only GREAT stuff:) More to come next week (also from me, although "smaller" stuff ) Nice way to enter the long weekend break!
    5. Very nice. Are you by any chance a collector of this particular medal? What's particularly interesting is the amount of variations that can be observed (especially for lower numbers). Offers challanges for sure!
    6. http://gmic.co.uk/index.php/topic/4231-order-of-military-valour-order-of-the-red-combat-banner/ This belongs here as well.
    7. Interesting, is that a "duplicate" indication below the serial number?
    8. The variety of serial numbering style continues to defy logic!
    9. Thanks - very useful reference point. The numbering style looks very well aligned with 413 and 420 shown earlier in this thread. I do believe (off top of my memory) that these are post-socialist awarded ones though.
    10. Appreciate if you could share more of your Mongolia collection here on GMIC - especially groups, documents and rare (numbered) awards.
    11. Some new Jamyan items arrived (and there's more to come, incl. something interesting from DPRK): 1) Medal "Glory to the Virgin Land Cultivators" (document was already in my posession) 2) 60 Year to Mongolian State Security Badge with the VIP doc 3) Assorted other medals/badges
    12. http://www.albanianroyalcourt.al/pages/royal%20decorations
    13. Just got this, a surprising tiny badge for the Albanian state travel/tourist org "Albturist"
    14. Reverse, a far cry from the super slick Soviet medal bars you sometimes see. Clearly these medals on this bar have some real "history" behind them!
    15. And here another bar - mixed cloth / plastic ribbons and also interesting to notice the repair of the red star order at the ring.
    16. And here's quite a big one Top row: Order of Skanderbeg 2nd class, Order of Skanderbeg 3rd class, Medal of Remembrance Second row: Order of Bravery, ??? need to look this one up ???, Order of Red Star Bottom row: Medal of Bravery, Medal of Liberation, Medal "10th Anniversary of the Peoples Army"
    17. http://www.net-film.ru/en/film-13328/?sp=ru&s=soviet+sport This is where i found it. Takes 1-2 minutes to register and then you can download old news videos. I only did a search on Sukh Baatar, but I'm sure there's more interesting stuff to find.
    18. Any way I could post some videos here? Have one depicting Tsedenbal presnting Mikhail Suslov and Yuri Andropov, the Order of SB. Another one handing Kosygin the SB order. Interesting is that both videos confirm the awards came with a box.

    20. Good stuff! And good to see more people appreciate Albanian awards:) Would be good if you could post scans of individual medals in the specific threads so we can keep expanding knowledge combined for those awards.
