    1. Thanks Paul, I got this bar from Manions several years ago before they went down the tubes. The Olympic medal was awarded 54,915 times. Chris
    2. All of the reversed EK2s on bars were non-Prussian. This bar has all Prussian awards.
    3. My only Ausrian award is on a German medalbar.
    4. [attachmentid=21973]I have seen this medal with both sides mounted to the front on medal bars. Is the one on this bar correct or is it mounted backwards? Thanks for you info Chris
    5. Beautiful bars Ralph WAs the Prussian War Aid Cross not allowed after 1935 or was this just a personal choice? Chris
    6. closeup. It's still the only Frankenberg & Jise maker tagged bar I have ever seen.[attachmentid=21043]
    7. Sweet 1870 non-com bar Stogie Here's my favorite piece of this year. You have seen it before it;s my Prussian officers bar. I bought because the Hohenzollern Knights Cross with swords is favorite Imperial award. I figured it would be hard to find a cleaner one. The Southwest Africa medal with Hereroland bar was icing on the cake Chris[attachmentid=21040]
    8. Is it that the ring attachment on the Prussian Cross is thin instead of thick and ball shaped? It looks like they tried to hide it with thread. Also is the backing plate metal wrong? Chris
    9. @Rick thanks for the break down of my bar. It's all the variants and combinations that make collecting Imperial so interesting. @Stogie it's about time I got one. I have just missed so many over the last several years. I have one more question I have seen the Verdienst Um Den Staat medal mounted both ways. Is mine mounted correctly or is it backwards?
    10. It took me awhile but I finally got nice medalbar with the white & black ribbon EK2 What can you tell about this guys career. Was he a doctor or a lifetime desk jockey? Also do you think this a wartime piece or 1920's? Thanks for looking and your input Chris
    11. Here's my little Red Cross medal bar. I'm guessing the bar is from late war to the early 20's because the Red Cross medal is zinc. I usually see these refered to as medics bars even though I imagine alot of different people could have had this combination.
    12. My main interest is Imperial medalbars, but I have a few Third Reich pieces. I thought I would share my favorite WW2 bar.
    13. Great bar Bob. It's the first one I have seen with a Silver Merit Medal without a EK2 or a MVK!
