    1. I don't think so, not really my field, there's wiki article on them: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Serbian_Volunteer_Corps_(World_War_II)
    2. Found one interesting photo of helmet in wear.
    3. Little bit off topic but I just wanted to mention that that type of helmet was also used by members of the Serbian Volunteer Corps (Српски добровољачки корпус - СДК) during WW2.
    4. Interesting photo, thanks for sharing. That type of Air Force uniform was introduced with regulation from 1937.
    5. I agree with Rogi, when it comes to Serbia/Yugoslavia I believe that such obligation never existed.
    6. Photos of original medal but also membership card of the association can be found here: http://gmic.co.uk/index.php/topic/25054-voluntarios-internacionales-de-la-libertad/
    7. I've been going through some older topics and stumbled upon this: http://gmic.co.uk/index.php/topic/23458-serbia-medal-of-the-stsawa-society/ One more medal but also photo of a document issued with it.
    8. Uniform or that convocation of White Eagles
    9. Photo found on Tošić collection website.
    10. Extremely rare medal, many thanks for sharing those photos with us! Unfortunately I don't have a proper literature when it comes to Montenegro, the only book I have that partially deals with Montenegro is "Decorations of the Yugoslav People (until 1941) from the Collection of the Military Museum" (Одликовања југословенских народа XIX и прве половине XX века (до1941) из збирке Војног музеја у Београду) by Mila Piletić (Мила Пилетић). According to the author Montenegrin Ministry of Army announced a competition for that medal on the 15th of March 1914. It's author, Ilija Šobajić (Илија Шобајић) took the portrait on the front side from the medal commemorating 50 years of Nikola's rule originally designed by S. Scwartz. This book also mentions white ribbon with red stripes and that's about it.
    11. Photos of a in my opinion better looking replica also from ebay. This one was offered as such. http://gmic.co.uk/uploads/monthly_09_2014/post-7937-0-56111900-1409684944.jpghttp://gmic.co.uk/uploads/monthly_09_2014/post-7937-0-49415600-1409684949.jpghttp://gmic.co.uk/uploads/monthly_09_2014/post-7937-0-40076400-1409684952.jpg
    12. Rest of the photos. http://gmic.co.uk/uploads/monthly_09_2014/post-7937-0-79804200-1409684649.jpghttp://gmic.co.uk/uploads/monthly_09_2014/post-7937-0-26898100-1409684654.jpg
    13. I just noticed a terrible fake on ebay. There is of course no mention of this in the description, it is offered as Serbian Military Academy Badge 1860(!?)-1880 Rare. Even though photos are pretty bad I think it's obvious that the badge is not original. http://gmic.co.uk/uploads/monthly_09_2014/post-7937-0-43056100-1409684358.jpghttp://gmic.co.uk/uploads/monthly_09_2014/post-7937-0-04548000-1409684365.jpghttp://gmic.co.uk/uploads/monthly_09_2014/post-7937-0-72855000-1409684370.jpg
    14. I saw your post after my last reply, honestly I am not 100% percent sure if it really is Leser. The trouble is that even the same producers had different variants... And those three (Rothe, Leser and Huguenin) are very similar.
    15. Here's comparison of the back side...
    16. Thanks Rogi Honestly I am still not 100% sure that it's Leser but if I had to name one producer that would be my choice. There are still some differences, quite a few of them, but still Leser is my choice... Mainly because of that 800 hallmark. And frankly speaking I would be even more satisfied if I got Leser than Huguenin!
    17. Just for comparison. The one on the right is without a doubt Leser (photo is from ebay).
    18. Your're welcome. The main reason why now I think it's Leser is that 800 hallmark. But the problem is that apart from 800 there is nothing else.
    19. I think that we can safely say that it's not Rothe and Bertrand, based on that hallmark I would rather say Leser than Huguenin... But I am very interested to hear what will others say.
