Not many in my collection, Paul.... but have picked up a few over the years. So, ‘Snap’ on the luft helmet… Not a particularly good example, but its saving grace is that it’s a local occupation find.

Hi Ralph... I think that's the 5th class with war decoration (wreath) - no crown. nice bar, btw.

Having not looked at the edged weapon part of the collection for some time, and thinking it was probably a good idea to do a little maintenance, I started pulling blades from scabbards and doing the necessary. Seeing the wonderful etched work done by the bayonet makers of the day for the private purchase market got me thinking of how many designs there must have been. I have a few etched KS-98’s which I’d like to share and would ask that any member who has any to get the camera out and post them. So, first up is an example by ‘Eickhorn’.
