    4. I would imagine such information would be available by using search engines, The potential for a thread like this degenerate into a fire storm on the pros and cons of alleged war crimes committed is large unfortunately. Kevin in Deva.
    5. Rears:- Close up scans and identification to follow. Kevin in Deva.
    6. Romanian Inter-Allied Victory Medal of World War 1. Official & Variations, Group shot in my collection. Kevin in Deva.
    7. Hallo Doc, Third Reich 1936 Olympic Medal. Prussian Colonial Service in Africa. Kevin in Deva
    8. Hallo Greg, I will try to enlarge the detail and see if its any clearer. It appears to be the bog-standard brass enlisted mans cap badge with felt backing. Some of the belt buckles look like they were painted black or a very dark green. And they are wearing what appears to be square toed brown combat boots possibly of the model for the mountain troops. Kevin in Deva.
    9. Hallo Greg, this Black & White picture shows members of the Romanian Security troops. Kevin in Deva.
    10. Congratulations on obtaining such a fine example, I have to settle for the mini version on a French Mini Medal bar until I win the lotto. Kevin in Deva.
    11. The direct translation of Ehrenlegion would be Legion of honour & Dagerland is Vaterland / Fatherland, I surmise? the addition of a sword and wreath attached to the ribbon would denote a combatant award as opposed to a non-combatant award. Kevin in Deva.
    12. Hallo seb16trs Can you give any details on the event: 2nd Slovak uprising, just so I can have a better understanding of the medals history. And idea as to how many were issued etc.. etc.. Kevin in Deva.
    13. Hallo Gents, located this one recently here in Deva, and would like to know more about it. Kevin in Deva.
    14. I.M.H.O. its pure fantasy, another item designed to separate gullible fools from their money. As there is no nazi motif on the item, I still say its a pure fantasy item. Kevin in Deva.
    15. Hallo Dragomir, many thanks for the information, were unofficial commemorative pieces common? Kevin in Deva.
    16. Any members got other versions of these service scrolls? Feel free to add your examples here. Kevin in Deva.
    17. Hallo Greg with regards the medal bar on the uniform, one thing that strikes me, is the ribbons for the Order Military Merit being out of sequence. I add some of my bars for comparison, look at number 4 from the top for an example of what I mean with regards the Order of Military Merit. I find the shoulder boards to be rather plain and lacking any gilt embroidery for somebody who was supposedly a high ranker. Kevin in Deva.
    18. The pin pictured under probably falls into a similar category, as the amateur artistic competition one I was interested in buying it, but the guy was selling it as part of a display board with a load of other pins. This one is defiantly R.P.R. Period. Kevin in Deva.
    19. I have linked this to save re-posting all the pictures of the item. http://gmic.co.uk/index.php?s=&showtop...st&p=349590 Recent find for a friend at the Deva Hobby Club Collectors Fair 13/06/2009 Strangely no name entered upon the document but it bears evidence of being framed at some time, pre WW1 in my humble opinion. Kevin in Deva,
