    1. Hallo Paul, any chance of some pictures to go with your warning? and many thanks for the tip-off. Kevin in Deva.
    2. Hallo Gents, of the top of my head, I believe I have seen a version for Agriculture workers, as well, and a 1977 style set into a cardboard award document for a factory*, (minus backing pin). * pictures of that particular type will be added as soon as I get back to Transylvania. 3. The British Military had a "Wound Stripe" circa WW1 which was, I believe faded out circa WW2 from general issue, perhaps it would be an idea to reinstate a similar award in cloth or like the original in metal and clipped to the lower forearm or sleeve. There should be some form of recognition for wounds received in the service of ones country, and it does not have to be in the shape of a "medal". Kevin in Deva
    4. Hallo hmgriefswald, can you please post a better, larger picture than the above? Kevin in Deva.
    5. Hallo Gents, if you can get these items, for the prices given above then grab them quick, as they are selling for 50 - 80+ Euros here in Romania, and thats for the lower classes. More for cased items with issue brevet in tube. Kevin in Deva
    6. Hallo Lorenzo This weapon is one of a pair outside of the Officers club in central Timisoara, Timis County, both well known, and photographed by myself as the building was used over the last 5 years for the Collectors Fair, time permitting, as I am getting set to head off on holiday I will dig out and post some shots (but thinks I already posted pictures before of them on the Forum.) Interestingly one of them seems to have been hit (but no penetration) by a burst of machine gun fire on the splinter shield, the indentations being visible when you catch the light at a certain angle. The yellow sign on the gun shield is not military related but a peace sign representing this area as a point of interest connected to the Peoples Revolution of 1989. http://gmic.co.uk/index.php?s=&showtop...st&p=162889 Kevin in Deva.
    7. Hallo Paul, The Original Bling-Bling Man Naval Type? so a chance of earning lifesaving award! But the question would be, for me anyway, to work out the official awards from the unofficial. And I would have to wonder if any were self-awarded! Kevin in Deva.

    12. Hallo Greg, can you show the back? Plates like this remind me of ones worn on the broad shoulder belts, I wonder if it came off a band instrument harness, for example a Drummer? Or a band thats not military connected?? Kevin in Deva

    18. Hallo Gents, I require a little help here, I have always took it that this medal had two ribbons to denote a Military award and a civil award, today I have heard the following, that there are two distinct medals, the difference being in the Latin Script and I am trying to get verification:- Civil: FRANC.IOS.I.D.G.IMP.AVST.REX BOH.ETC.ET REX AP.HVNG Military: FRANC.IOS.I.D.G.IMP.AVSTR.REX.BOH.ETC.AC.AP.REX.HVNG Kevin in Deva.
