Richard Gordon Posted July 29, 2006 Posted July 29, 2006 I just got this nice EK1 screw-back from my favourite hunting grounds :- Ebay. Frame has beautiful patina and seems to have a high silver-content. It's a 3-piece and the core is non-magentic (looks like could be brass). Is this a Deumer from between the wars?
Richard Gordon Posted July 29, 2006 Author Posted July 29, 2006 My two clam-shells together. On the right is a one-piece.Note the clam-shells are slightly different in design.

Motorhead Posted July 31, 2006 Posted July 31, 2006 That's a good one-as said before,from the 30ies.There are a few variations of the core,frame and clamshell attatchment...an own collecting field!Micha
Richard Gordon Posted July 31, 2006 Author Posted July 31, 2006 Thanks for all the info and replies.I had thought there was a Deumer connection but just wasn't 100%.Thanks!Rich
