When i was in the legion we used to have loops for awards and badges as well... They are not that strong....

A loop will break faster then a regular pin.... I really think these are just nice gadgets as opposed to anything else.

I tend to agree Chris. We all do it from time to time, buy a gadget that catches the eye and appeals to us even though it costs twice as much as the cheaper option that does exactly the same job. I'm quite glad they made them though cause I love 'em!

Anyone have a photo of any kind of award on a cuirasse?

Is the idea of these crosses being designed to attach to a cuirasse speculation Brian or does anyone have any reference to this being the case. This has often intrigued me.
