Its the medal for the Deffence of the Cauasus Medal

Dear "Moore ...",

there is a certain lack of detail at the av & rv of the medal and the ring is soldered rather crudly.

Might be a casted fake .

To me it looks like a poor repair job at re-attaching the ring. However, Zulus does have a point on the detail. This may be due to "wear and tear". For now, I think you have a good-fine condition Medal for the Defense of the Caucasus.

That is a very nice present!!! It one of many Soviet Campaign medals. If you decide to collect them I would suggest purchasing the medals WITH the award document. Some of the medals and documents for a few of the them are a little bit costly, but well worth the price. Ask any questions you may have.
