Stan Posted November 17, 2006 Share Posted November 17, 2006 Many years ago I bought a U-Boat Spange in Silver which was housed in a blue case, similar to the Luftwaffe Clasps.I showed it to Adrian Forman and what he liked about it was the paper hinge. I recently sent photos to Gordon Williamson who said that he had not seen a blue case for this item before, only paper envelopes and cardboard boxes with stapled corners.Here are the photosStan Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

John R Posted November 20, 2006 Share Posted November 20, 2006 Stan,No matter the case which can be open for discussion, the badge itself is a beautiful example, very nice. You just do not see silver frontspanges in this condition very often.
