Bundesrepublik Early 57 EK1 Using What Appear To Be Wartime Parts

I've just received this 57 EK1. It is of three piece construction and has what appears to be a war time pin, hinge and catch assembly. The frame is of good quality, with well silvered rims.

As usual, any comments or observations appreciated.

I've had chance to compare this to an L/11 marked 57 EK1 that I have, and I'd say they match. So I reckon this is an unmarked 57 Deumer piece.

but certainly agree you've got a '57er

with leftover frame.

Yeah I'd say a Deumer going by the catch,it's usually a tight "pigs tail" but yours looks like it has seen some use and has opened up a bit.
