Gerd Becker
Hi everyone, here is an award card of a Red Banner, which i once owned and which was unfortunately a piece, which i wasn?t comfortable with and i sent it back. However, to make a long story short, research was already ordered and the researcher wasn?t able anymore to stop it. The new owner of the piece is unfortunately not interested in the research, even for half of the price So i share the award card with your guys here, that its not completely wasted money. Its interesting, as he was a quite young chap who was highly awarded with Bravery Awards. Here is the list:Order of the Great Patriotic War Nr. 17.988 13.9.43Order of the Red Banner Nr. 106969 7.6.44Order of the Red Banner Nr. 171.319 18.8.44Order of Alexander Nevsky Nr. 25.514 14.1.45Order of the Red Banner Nr. 203.417 20.2.45 Order of the GPW 2nd class Nr. 194.850 8.6.45Order of Suvorov Nr. 2.729 2.12.45Order of the Red Star Nr. 3.626.994 30.12.56Medal for Military Merit w/o S/n 17.5.51Medal for the Capture of BudapestMedal for Victory over GermanyThe award card, obverse

Guest Rick Research
Not quite as sad as voluntarily sending the Order away into the void though."Life lessons" always seem to be learned the hard way.
