Soviet Medals for Honor Titles of USSR

You don't see these very often (ever seen a "Meritorious Agricultural Ameliorator of the USSR"?) yet they are very nice.

Here's my recently acquired People's Teacher of the USSR. 14.1gr, double LMD mintmark. No serial number on reverse unfortunately.

Unfortunately, because so little is seen / heard / known of these... it's not always easy to (once you find one) determine whether it's genuine or not.

Dear Bob,

great photograph - you are also the shadow of the diploma .

The diploma is highly interesting, because it notes "2nd class" on it .

I always thougt, that all the titles "Meritorious XXXX of the CCCP" had only ONE class ?

Does anyone know more about that?

Well, without the glass / plastic in front I guess the diploma's probably wouldn't be in possession of the museum anymore for us all to enjoy... but damn tricky to make nice clean photographs:)
