How about showing off some Polizei pieces? I'll start us off with a rather special medal bar. rarely does one find a mounted 18-Year LSC with the correct, embroidered silver eagle!

One day hopefully I will track down the alpanist and hoch alpanist badges.

Police qualification badges have to be my most favorite of all 3rd reich badges.

That's a great portrait photo.

Interesting particularly in that he carries his Imperial era lio head sword rather than the police officer's pattern degen.

Yup, Methuselah was carrying his "tradition weapon," must have been in one of Baden's field artillery regiments from his awards:

Baden WW1 War Effort Effort Cross, Hindenburg Noncombatant Honor Cross, baden XV Years Service Cross, Kaiser Wilhelm I 1897 Centenary Medal, Baden 1902 Jubilee Medal, and ?. Ex-NCO, left the army before the war

the FIRST war

and in Polizei by 1914, probably.
