I have had this one for about 8 years now. Nice quality, no maker mark... and I have never seen another like it so have not been able to say "good, bad, or just plain ugly!"

This is the fake referred to (Photo courtesy Detlev Niemann). I agree there are some similarities but I don't think its the same tooling. There are few known makers for this badge but I have seen other non maker marked pieces that are probably OK.

Yours could be good but it certainly won't win any beauty prizes.
