    Hi Kepi welcome to the forum, nice pieces, any ID on the RK maker? BTW Chris, pardon my ignorance, but what is "Matricule"?

    Thanks for the Welcome.

    No Marker on the Ritterkreuz, but it is an S&L.

    I have not been in the Legion if it is that you mean with my Matricule ??.

    Matricule it a number each Legionnaire gets.

    Thanks kepi Blanc, it looks like an S & L, but couldn't be sure, could you post any closer pictures as a like S & L RK's, BTW are there any other maker marks on the ek1 & 11, I am waiting to obtain a EK 11 cased, not got one yet unfortunately.

    Edit BTW matricule is completely me to me hence the question

    I got my EK1 in case for 2 month ago and are very happy with it.

    It is Marked L/57 (Boerger & Co, Berlin)

    I'm waiting at some EK2 with Urkunde.

    Hello.

    The EK2 had belonged to Heinz Jurgens from LSSAH.

    He received the Knight Cross in May 1945.

    For about a Month ago i wrote a letter to Hr. Jurgens with a question.

    Wednesday i received a letter from him.

    Together with a very friendly letter and some Pics from him.

    Indeed he is 90 years today !!!
