Chris Boonzaier Posted May 28, 2007 Posted May 28, 2007 this one belonged to a Fallschirmj?ger. It is unusual as it is made the same way the old Gibralter titles were made.... ie. the ends were never folded over, just sewn zigzag along the ends.

Did it come from the vet? Very unique item Chris!
Chris Boonzaier Posted May 28, 2007 Author Posted May 28, 2007 Hi,It was from a Fallschirmj?ger vet. Came through a friend of mine. This style was of the kind you often find on the pre 1918 gibralter titles.Maybe they started doing them differently after this one was made? They must have frayed like hell, the edges were not very strong.
