I don't own one as I feel they are some what over priced. But then again, the market place has et the price and if I really want one I can always break down and pay the going rate which only goes up every year anyway!Thes helmets started life before the compass and hammer became the DDR State Symbol. Later they had two holes drilled in the cap badge and the new state symbol added.
